Property Conveyancing
I
f you are buying or selling property, we provide excellent representation in your property transaction.
While property conveyancing is often complex, you can be confident that all necessary documentation will be prepared and reviewed by us and that your transaction will go as smoothly as possible.
We will investigate the title of the property for you and check whether anything that may affect the property, such as rates, taxes, development plans, or illegal buildings, are identified and dealt with. We make sure you understand your rights and obligations.
Why use a cheap conveyancer when you are dealing with what is often your biggest investment? Conveyancing is not a simple exercise and in over 75% of conveyances there are problems that arise which require the application of legal knowledge and experience to protect the client’s interests.
As lawyers, we provide the full scope of conveyancing and property law services. If a legal dispute arises we can take whatever proceedings are necessary to protect your interests, but a conveyancer is not qualified to handle legal disputes and should refer you to a lawyer. But often, the conveyancer will not want to lose the transaction or their fee if the matter does not settle and they will not tell you about the problem at all.
Beware of any conveyancer who is prepared to act for both vendor and purchaser. This may endanger you from obtaining clear title to your property or frustrate your sale. The cheap conveyancer will not wish to upset the real estate agents who refer them clients and will push through transactions against the interests of their clients or find themselves in a position where they don’t have time to act properly in the matter because of the extremely low fee they charge.
Buying or selling property is a significant investment and you should ensure that you are property represented through experienced property lawyers. We also have an in depth understanding of other areas of the law that may affect your transaction, such as your estate planning, commercial, taxation, and family law objectives.

Do you want your family to continue what you started and continue the hard work you have poured into your land?
Everyone knows what a will is, but not everyone appreciates that proper estate planning is more than a will.
It often involves testamentary trusts, enduring powers of attorney, advance
health care directives, superannuation binding death benefit nominations, and passing control of family trusts to ensure all of your assets are dealt with as you wish should you unexpectedly die or lose mental capacity.
We can work with you and your family to eliminate intergenerational conflict and establish protected family prosperity through structured estate planning.
Water Licences
I
s water worth more than gold?
It can be if you need to water crops, provide drinking water for your animals, or have running water at your home.
Water licences can be transferred, but it is important that parties involved in a transfer do so correctly in the manner prescribed by legislation. Failure to do so may result in extended delays in the
effective transfer of the licence, additional costs, and other unforeseen problems.
If you do not transfer your interest in a water licence correctly, you may still be liable for rates and charges associated with the licence.
We can assist with the registration, transfer, or creation of a new water licence.
