Enduring Guardianship Appointment

An Appointment of Enduring Guardian allows you to appoint those you trust to manage your health decisions, such as where you live and which medical and personal services you receive, if you are alive and unable to make those decisions yourself.
You can also include directions for your enduring guardian about your wishes, for example, if you become terminally ill or become permanently reliant on a life support machine.
Without an Appointment of Enduring Guardian, your loved ones may need to seek orders from the Guardianship Division of the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal, which may cause stress, delay, and additional expense.
